Cottage beside Surf Beaches & Bude Canal

This is our second stay at Joe’s property in Bude and it won’t be our last. It’s the perfect location for the beaches and restaurants of Bude but still quiet and relaxing with everything you need. I would highly recommend staying here.

A great stay. Lovely cottage. Very easy central location. Easy parking. Joe was a great host and we really enjoyed the cream tea on arrival.

Would definitely come back. Very friendly people and great location. Comfortable beds.

Joe is a fantastic host. He was very communicative and full of recommendations which made our stay very easy indeed. The cottage has lots of character and everything has been thought about (we especially liked the artwork, cosy bedding and rugs everywhere) It’s clean and had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Bude itself was great and we enjoyed coastal walks, swimming in the sea pool and eating at many of the lovely establishments - try The Electric Bakery for one of the best bacon sarnies ever made and an array of cakes like no other! What a amazing cottage. We booked this as somewhere special to stay for the final 2 nights of our holiday travelling round Cornwall and it did not disappoint. The property is beautifully presented and has excellent facilities and everything you need and more for a fantastic stay.

Our little girl was thrilled to find the toys in the cupboard, a lovely touch to the property.
Joe and his sister are excellent hosts, extremely helpful and friendly.
The only disappointment was that after arriving we wanted to stay an extra night but it was understandably booked up.

A very attractive 2 bedroom property ideal for small family. Very well fitted out, tasteful decor, comfy furniture and beds. Pretty garden. Pub next door not noisy. Sea 5 mins walk down Bude canal. Worth walking to other side of beach to try swimming in Bude sea pool (wet suit advised). Host Joe ever so helpful and lots of interesting local stories.

We loved this cottage. There were lots of interesting cottage features. It was comfortable, clean and tidy. We were able to park outside the property and the car stayed there for the week. The beaches, walks, shops, restaurants and sea pool were all within easy walking distance but the cottage felt peaceful and relaxing.
Joe works nearby and is always available if you should need anything. When we return to Bude we wouldn’t consider looking anywhere else.
